After six years as the UK’s number one grain marketplace, Graindex has been refreshed, reimagined, and rebranded as Hectare Trading. Our brand new name, look and feel reflects our mission to make grain trading simple, smart, and effective.
Hectare Trading includes all the features that made Graindex popular with thousands of UK farmers, such as efficient access to more market opportunities, but with countless innovative new features set to make trading easier than ever before.
Arable farmers will be able to access their trading position and daily grain prices from anywhere, anytime from our easy-to-use app and trade with confidence knowing they’re getting a fair market price for their crops. Buyers will get easy market access to our farm assured buyers, with flexible trading tools to help them get the crop they need, when they need.
Notably both farmers and buyers alike will get access to exclusive live market prices, free of charge.
After years of Graindex grain trades, months of product development and weeks of launch build-up it’s all come down to today. Hectare Trading went live today at 8AM on Monday 20th November and before long our very first listings, price offers and completed trades came rolling in. After our first day of trading we’re thrilled to see our community make use of new features we’ve worked so hard on to make trading fast, efficient and flexible for all.
