Unveiling the Future of Agriculture: Hectare does Croptec 2023
This week Hectare returned to the vibrant and bustling halls of the CropTec Show, making our annual trip to the beating heart of the UK technical arable industry.
Only this time there was one noticeable difference: we were now exhibiting as parent company Hectare, and showcasing our brand new product suite of Inventory and Trading.
With the recent launch of Trading and its enthusiastic reception from our Graindex members, now was a perfect time to connect with some of our long-standing customers face-to-face and guide them through this exciting update, while also embracing new possibilities and welcoming fresh faces to the Hectare community.

Running for over ten years now, the CropTec Show has long been a thriving hub for forward-thinking growers, agronomists and advisers to come together for two days of seminars on the latest technical developments. With our mission to build technology dedicated to agricultural success, Hectare has naturally been a long-standing exhibitor eager to engage in discussions about the future of farming and showcase how our technology can bring wide-reaching benefits to the industry.
However, the highlight of CropTec has always been the personal connections it fosters. The chance to meet our existing customers face-to-face, to shake hands, share stories, and discuss their successes and challenges, was truly invigorating, and a key reminder of why we built our technology in the first place. As farmers and developers ourselves, the people who keep the industry moving are at the heart of everything we do.

So it was a pleasure to see so much interest and excitement about our newest product, Hectare Trading. An upgrade and evolution of our previous Graindex platform, Hectare Trading contains several new features and benefits designed to make crop trading easier than ever before, for everyone. To hear enthusiasm from onboarded customers, curiosity from those yet to try and eager anticipation for the app was encouraging and underscored Hectare Trading’s potential to make crop trading simple, smart and effective.
But the show was not just about reconnecting; it was about embracing new opportunities. Engaging with potential customers, learning about their unique requirements, and sharing insights into how Hectare's technology can revolutionise their farming practices was enlightening. The Hectare merchandise also went down well - the beanies were particularly popular given the recent icy temperatures!
