London feed wheat for March 2025 fell to £169.55, down 1.4% from last week's closing price of £172.00, but higher than Tuesday’s low. The lack of clarity on US tariffs will ensure continued market pressure. The carry to July 2025 narrowed to £11.60.
On Hectare Trading, feed wheat saw price offers up to £186 in the West Midlands for April 2025 movement. Group 1 wheat received offers of £200 in the West Midlands for March 2025 movement. Group 4 (Hard) wheat achieved offers up to £180 in East of England for July 2025 movement, and Group 4 (Soft) wheat saw price offers of £178 in the South West for March 2025 movement.
Paris milling wheat for March 2025 fell to £177.13 (€211.00), down 4.8% from last week's closing price of £186.16 (€221.75). This was driven by the strength of the euro, with the dollar now at a 4-month low against the euro. The carry to May 2025 widened to £9.86.
Paris rapeseed for May 2025 fell to £422.68 (€503.50), down 5.5% from last week's closing price of £447.24 (€532.75). Paris rapeseed for August 2025 fell to £405.68 (€483.25), down 3.1% from last week's closing price of £418.49 (€498.50). The carry to November 2025 narrowed to £1.26. Market pressure has been driven by the stronger euro and pressure in the broader vegetable oil markets.
Elsewhere on Hectare Trading, milling oats achieved offers of £150 in the South East for March 2025 movement. Peas received offers up to £209 in the South West for April 2025 movement. Feed beans saw price offers up to £226 in the West Midlands for April 2025 movement. Feed barley received offers of £173 in North East Scotland for March 2025 movement, whilst feed barley (2-Row) saw price offers up to £175 in Central Scotland for March 2025 movement.
