London feed wheat for March 2025 fell to £168.40, down 0.2% from last week's closing price of £168.70. The carry to July 2025 widened to £12.70 (£3.18 per month).
On Hectare Trading, feed wheat saw price offers up to £200 in the South West Scotland for March 2025 movement, and £186.50 in the West Midlands for April 2025 movement. Group 1 wheat received offers of £215 in the North East for August 2025 movement, and Group 4 (Hard) wheat achieved offers up to £190 in North East Scotland and £188 in the North West for March 2025 movement. Group 4 (Soft) wheat received offers up to £190 in Central Scotland for March 2025 movement.
Paris milling wheat for May 2025 rose to £189.50 (€226.00), up 1.9% from last week's closing price of £185.94 (€221.75). Demand surged on reports of large wheat purchases by Tunisia and Algeria. The carry to December 2025 is £5.45.
Paris rapeseed for May 2025 fell to £394.94 (€471.00), down 5.0% from last week's closing price of £415.69 (€495.75). Paris rapeseed for August 2025 fell to £385.08 (€459.25), down 4.0% from last week's closing price of £401.01 (€478.25). These losses are a knock-on from losses felt in Winnipeg canola, following the introduction of fresh tariffs in North America. The carry to November 2025 widened to £1.68. On Hectare Trading, OSR achieved offers of £400 in the West Midlands for April 2025 movement.
Elsewhere on Hectare Trading, rye saw price offers up to £150 in Central Scotland for March 2025 movement, milling oats received offers of £155 in the East of England for April 2025 movement. Feed beans saw price offers up to £225 in the West Midlands and feed barley (2-Row) achieved offers of £178 in Central Scotland, both for May 2025 movement.
