London feed wheat for May 2025 rose slightly to £169.00, up 0.2% from last week's closing price of £168.65. Despite ongoing volatility driven by US tariffs, the market has been supported by a weaker sterling against the euro. The carry to July 2025 narrowed to £4.10.

On Hectare Trading, feed wheat received offers up to £208 in North East Scotland for April 2026 movement; achieved offers up to £204 in Central Scotland for November 2025 movement, with a bid spread of £14; and saw price offers of £188 in East Midlands for November 2025 movement, with a bid spread of £6.

Paris milling wheat for May 2025 fell to £186.93 (€216.50), down 2.5% from last week's closing price of £191.68 (€222.00). This is largely due to the euro strengthening against the dollar in the wake of the tariffs, as it’s increasingly being viewed as a safe haven currency.

On Hectare Trading, Group 1 wheat saw price offers of £185 in Essex & Hertfordshire for May 2025 movement. Group 4 (hard) wheat received offers up to £204 in Northumberland & Scottish Borders for November 2025 movement, with a bid spread of £5. Group 4 (soft) wheat achieved price offers of £200 in North East Scotland for November 2025 movement.

Paris rapeseed for May 2025 dropped to £442.07 (€512.00), down 1.0% from last week's closing price of £446.38 (€517.00). Paris rapeseed for August 2025 slipped to £405.59 (€469.75), down 1.4% from last week's closing price of £411.20 (€476.25). This follows a decline in vegetable oil markets and the stronger euro.

Elsewhere on Hectare Trading, feed barley saw offers up to £158 in North East Scotland for April 2025 movement. Feed barley (6-row) received offers up to £162 in East Midlands for May 2025 movement, with a bid spread of £8.
